How bad do you want it?

"I took the road less traveled and that has made all the difference."

Each week we want to help you focus on an area to improve your life and accelerate your growth.

The theme for this week is: How bad do you want it?

If you are sure about something, what steps do you take to ensure you reach the goal? What happens if you do not achieve your goal. Before you answer these questions, we must first explore how know what is it that you really want to succeed at?

The first step is becoming clear about what "it" is. Do you want to make more money, write a book, go back to school..the possibilities are endless.

Whatever you seek to achieve, sacrifices will inevitably arise. Everytime you uplevel, another challenge will require your attention and action.

You must be prepared to leave others behind, not have people understand your drive, and most importantly- hold the vision.

How bad do you want it will determine the path you take- but remember- you have to decide before you can begin. Not only must you want to do something, you must take action.

High performer action steps:

  • Identify people you can hang out who already do what you want
  • Pay attention to habits of successful individuals
  • Decide and commit to making a difference

Assignment

Share a story about a time you thought you wanted to do something but realized it was not for you.
Post a short video on what you ended up doing that fuels your passion and desire to achieve.

Differences between a dirty house and a messy house

Differences between a Dirty House and a Messy House

At one point or another, we have said either that our homes are messy, not dirty, or have heard someone else say it.
Not only do we not believe our words, but also when someone else says it, we have to look around to confirm that this is not the case. Cleanliness requires you to consider how everything in the house looks.
If the home is messy, it means that it is already dirty. When you do not have time to pick your mess, it implies that you do not have time to clean the mess as well.
If you are a mum, you know that most of the time you spend the time allocated to cleaning duties just picking stuff up and placing it in their right places. In some cases, you do not even get to do the actual cleaning.
In one day, there is not enough time to do everything that you would like to accomplish. Therefore, if saying the house is messy and not dirty makes you feel better, you should go ahead and do so, but remember that this will not do any good to your family health.
Dirt not only looks bad, but it is also bad for you and your family. It is more than a simple film that clouds the furniture, as it is also a breeding ground for harmful particles and allergens.
If you are not able to get them, it means that you are exposing your family to harmful particles, which could end up making them sick.
Filth is not only hideous; it could also lead to many other things...
It is important to understand that dirt is not only an inconvenience; it can also end up severely affecting the health of your loved ones.
The dust has the potential to produce symptoms that you did not know existed. The allergens can:
  • Decrease the functioning of your immune system
  • Cause inflammation of the lung and nasal passages
  • Be an underlying cause for skin conditions like Psoriasis
  • Increase the chances of getting an asthmatic response in young kids
Getting exposed to allergens for a long time will be capable of wreaking havoc on your immune system, and the worst part about is that you will not know that this is happening.

Therefore, the next time you start insisting that the house is just messy and not dirty, consider all the areas that are hidden under this mess and start cleaning the home. It will be the best way to protect your family.
